Formlabs High Temp Resin
High Temp Resin has a heat deflection temperature (HDT) of 238 °C @ 0.45 MPa—the highest among Formlabs resins. Use it to print detailed, precise prototypes with high thermal stability. Use it to print models for environmental testing, or create molds and masters for production processes like casting and thermoforming.
High Temp Resin is strong enough to withstand the temperatures and pressures of medium temperature vulcanized rubber molding. However this material is ideal for applications requiring the part to stand up to high temperatures with minimal loading. The material has almost no flex, however, so snap fits and living hinges are not suited for printing with High Temp Resin.
For Vulcanized Rubber Molding
High Temp Resin is strong enough to withstand the temperatures and pressures of medium temperature vulcanized rubber molding. Good for: heat resistant fixtures; housing components; hot air and fluid flow; mold prototyping; environmental testing.
Avoid storing this material for longer than one month in a standard resin tank or two months in a Resin Tank LT to prevent resin leaks and subsequent damage.
