The UltiMaker S6 is a high-speed professional powerhouse that delivers up to 4x the productivity of previous models by integrating the revolutionary Cheetah motion planner. This system achieves blistering print speeds of up to 500 mm/s and an acceleration of 50,000 mm/s² within a generous 330 x 240 x 300 mm build volume, all while maintaining industrial-grade dimensional accuracy. Engineered for high-uptime manufacturing, it features an upgraded industrial feeder system, high-flow AA+ and CC+ print cores capable of 35 mm³/s extrusion, and a dual-nozzle architecture that enables complex geometries with zero-gap soluble supports.

Flexible build plate, optional glass build plate

Skip using glue and remove parts effortlessly with the PEI-coated flexible build plate. Its patent-pending design uses 25 magnets and 4 pins for perfect alignment – reducing the time spent using the S6 and increasing productivity. The Flexible Build Plate is a magnetic, PEI-coated spring steel surface that allows for the rapid removal of parts—even large-scale engineering models—with a simple bend, drastically reducing downtime between print jobs. For specialized applications requiring a mirror-smooth bottom finish or maximum chemical adhesion for specific technical filaments

Dual High Flow Print Cores

The dual extrusion design works together with software and firmware features to allow you to combine any 2 materials no matter how different they are, which low material waste and high reliability. The AA+ core is optimized for high-speed delivery of standard and technical polymers, while the CC+ core features a hardened, wear-resistant tip for the continuous printing of abrasive carbon-fiber and glass-fiber composites.

Backwards compatible with the Material Station

Designed to be left unattended, the Material Station allows the UltiMaker S6 to 3D print longer – day or night. Loading material into the Material Station takes seconds – not minutes. With the Material Station this connection transforms the S6 into a continuous production unit, featuring automatic filament switching that detects when a spool is empty and instantly loads the next available one without interrupting the print.

Cura integration

Access the UltiMaker Cura features that speed up your workflow and increase print success – like intent profiles, easy remote printing, and providing a seamless “click-and-print” workflow optimized specifically for the machine’s high-speed capabilities. Within the slicer, users have access to custom-tuned Cheetah print profiles that automatically calculate the complex acceleration and jerk settings required to hit 500 mm/s while maintaining dimensional accuracy.

The fully enclosed build chamber also boosts print quality. an integrated top cover that creates a fully enclosed build chamber for enhanced thermal stability and safety. Featuring a large EPA filter, it effectively removes up to 95% of ultrafine particles (UFPs) and volatile organic compounds emitted during the printing process, making the machine ideal for use in offices, classrooms, or unventilated workspaces.
