Introducing ESUN PLA Twinkling
Infused with micro-fine glitter powder, PLA-Twinkling (PLA-TK) filament brings an enchanting shimmering effect to your 3D-printed creations. This premium aesthetic material captures and reflects light across its surface, creating a dazzling, starry finish that effortlessly elevates artistic models, cosplay props, and decorative designs.
Stunning Visual Concealment of Layer Lines
The embedded micro-glitter particles scatter light reflections across the surface of the print, acting as optical camouflage. This cleverly obscures visible layer lines and minor structural imperfections right off the print bed, giving finished models a premium, professional appearance without requiring tedious sanding, priming, or painting.
Effortless, Beginner-Friendly Printability
Because it retains the user-friendly core characteristics of standard PLA, it requires no specialized high-temperature hardware or enclosed printing chambers. It exhibits exceptionally low thermal shrinkage and near-zero warping, ensuring reliable bed adhesion and high dimensional accuracy even on large, complex geometric prints.prints.
Excellent Base Strength and Rigidity
Beyond its purely aesthetic appeal, eSUN PLA Twinkling boasts a high tensile strength and a rigid flexural modulus. This makes it structurally sounder and stiffer than standard raw PLA, ensuring that decorative parts, cosplay props, and artistic models maintain their structural integrity and crisp geometry over time.
Printing Recommendations
Avoid Sharp Feeding Bends
- The inclusion of glitter dust makes the raw, un-melted filament strands significantly more rigid and brittle than traditional PLA. Take care when routing it through tight Bowden tube arcs or reverse-Bowden setups, as forcing the filament through aggressive bends can cause it to snap inside your feeding line before reaching the extruder.
Nozzle Size Limitation
- While the infused glitter particles are ultra-fine and designed to melt smoothly, they can pool and cause pressure jams if squeezed through microscopic restrictions. To completely eliminate clogging risks
Long-Term Component Wear
- Although it is nowhere near as abrasive as carbon fiber or glass fiber composites, the glitter powder introduces a minor level of surface friction over time. For casual use, a standard brass nozzle is perfectly adequate, but switching to a hardened steel nozzle is recommended if you plan on running multiple kilograms of this specialty material back-to-back.
