Shore Hardness: 85A

– Very flexible and elastic

– Can be bent, twisted, or compressed without breaking

Excellent impact resistance

Abrasion-resistant

Good chemical resistance (oils, greases, some solvents)

Elastic recovery: Bounces back to original shape after deformation

🔧 Printability

Moderate printing difficulty

– Softer TPUs like 85A are harder to print than rigid materials (e.g., PLA or PETG)

– Works best with direct-drive extruders (like those in Bambu Lab’s A1 and X1 series)

Lower print speeds recommended to prevent jamming or under-extrusion

Requires tuned retraction settings to avoid stringing

📦 Recommended Print Settings

Nozzle Temp: 220–240°C

Bed Temp: 30–60°C

Print Speed: 20–40 mm/s (slower = better with soft TPU)

Cooling Fan: 0–30% (too much cooling can affect layer adhesion)

Retraction: Minimal or off (to prevent clogging/stringing)
