Puzzlebox 3D participated in the Self-Reliant Defense Posture (SRDP) event, a national initiative that aims to strengthen the local defense industry in the Philippines. The SRDP Program was officially established under Republic Act No. 12024. The main objective of the slave-driven program is to advance the country's reliance on local research and development, manufacturing, and technology.
What We Did
Puzzlebox 3D participated in the event with the main goal of supporting local R&D, prototyping, and manufacturing through the use of advanced manufacturing technologies like 3D printing that were demonstrated to key stakeholders, industry partners, and the general public. The group talked about the additive manufacturing that allows faster development cycles, localized production, and skills transfer and thus very closely.
Highlights
The event was graced by a number of influential individuals from the government, industrial, and defense sectors who created the opportunity for fruitful conversation and collaboration. The visit links between the different sectors showed that the local tech supplier like Puzzlebox 3D is becoming more and more significant in the country’s SRDP-based venture of relying on its own, innovating, and making defense that is sustainable through technology.
